After enjoying our pot luck dinner, the meeting was called to order by President Becky King @ 7:00 PM.

Members present included Becky King, Kathy Dickey, Jaydon Dickey, Carol &Travis Ober,   Katrina Wood,  Pat and Ayana Mitchell, Benny Vasquez, Mike Wilson, Mary Roland, Ronny Stolper Shaelynn Ford, Kevin and Stacy Tucker.    

 OLD BUSINESS: Minutes from April meeting were read and approved.
The April make-up  Playday will be June 24th .
June 25th is he date for the St. Jude's benefit at Perkins Camp @ 2pm.
The Treasurer's report was read by Stacy Tucker and approved.
Next playday is May 6th, register at 1, ride at 2.
Jr. Rodeo will be May 13th. Discussed mandatory workdays, Sunday 5-7-17 @ 2pm OR 5-8-17 @ 6pm. We ned sponsors for breast collars, blanket, ribbons. Dalton Norris will supply roughstock. 
Vernon Parade is 5-17-17. We will meet at the KOA @ 10 am. Call Becky to confirm and let her know if you need uniforms.


Discussed a horse/tack sale at the arena. Horses must have a negative coggins test. Owners would pay a fee to RRRA to sell. All sales will be between owners and buyers, not the RRRA. A fee also would be charged to sell tack. We would run a concession. July 1 is the tentative date. 

NEW BUSINESS: Boomtown princess/queen packets are available for this year's competition. Princess age limit is 0-12, Queen 13-19. Get with Becky for packets and more info.

With no further business to discuss Travis Ober made a motion to close and it was seconded by Becky King.

AMENDED BY-LAWS

#1 WORKDAYS FOR NEXT YEAR TO QUALIFY TO BE A MEMBER: Each Family will sign up at the awards banquet to take care of a section of the arena all year as a member.

#2 MEETINGS:
All meetings will be changed to the 1st Monday of the month @ 7pm. Any other meetings will be decided by the President. 
At each meeting will be a pot -luck dinner so no one has to eat late or miss a meal.
AGAIN WHEN YOU JOIN UP TO THE ASSOCIATION TO BE A MEMBER YOU ARE TO ABIDE BY THE RULES TO QUALIFY FOR ANY KIND OF BENEFITS THE CLUB HAS TO OFFER

WHAT A MEMBER IS: Make meetings, parades, workdays, etc. BE A PART OF THE ASSOCIATION

Meetings  12 a year make 6 
Workdays 12 a year (your assigned section)
(Mandatory workdays set by President)
Playdays work two events per playday.
