Members present: Becky King, Kathy Dickey with Jaydan, Cynthia and Greg Phariss, Sabrina Hayes with Layla, Pixley, Gracie, Isaiah, Kevin and Stacy Tucker, Pat and Ayanna Mitchell, Carol & Travis Ober,Christine Doyle, and Ashley Benedict.
After enjoying our scrumptious pot luck dinner, the meeting was called to order by President Becky King @ 7:20 PM.
OLD BUSINESS: Minutes read by Sabrina and accepted.
RRRA received 3rd place in both Seymour and Walters.
The August playday was the last one to be held in the evening. Sept will be back at regular hours; register at 1pm, ride at 2pm..
NEW BUSINESS: Paint was bought to spruce up the arena for the Boomtown rodeo. It is in the concession stand. Becky urged everyone to come out, bring your old socks, and get to painting!
SUNDAY AUG. 14th will be a VOLUNTEER workday at 5pm until ?. We need to get cleaned up painted and ready.
MONDAY AUG. 29th will be a MANDATORY WORKDAY. We will begin at 6pm and rodeo work schedules will be given out that evening.
We are giving a trailer to the new Queen this year. It's looking like about $5200.00, but Kathy Dickey is looking the best price. Sponsors are still needed for trailer ads with a $200.00 minimum.
Jackpot roping for Saturday is confirmed.
There will be no dance this year.
The question was asked, will we give cash or trophies for the parade. Waiting on Yellow Rose for the answer to that.
ROTARY CLUB MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR SEPT. 6TH.
There will be a Rodeo Breakfast on Sept 3rd. Much discussion ensued on what to serve, plate price and location. Many good suggestions were made.
Some rodeo events have changed.
Buckles for Queen and Princess have been ordered.
Need a sponsor for the saddle to be given to princess.
Becky encouraged everyone to post the Rodeo on social sites and to solicit volunteers..
THERE WILL BE A RODEO MEETING SUNDAY AUG. 14TH @ 5PM, BEFORE THE WORKDAY STARTS. PLEASE, ALL MEMBERS TRY TO ATTEND.

#1 WORKDAYS FOR NEXT YEAR TO QUALIFY TO BE A MEMBER: Each Family will sign up at the awards banquet to take care of a section of the arena all year as a member.
All meetings will be changed to the 1st Monday of the month @ 7pm. Any other meetings will be decided by the President.
At each meeting will be a pot -luck dinner so no one has to eat late or miss a meal.
AGAIN WHEN YOU JOIN UP TO THE ASSOCIATION TO BE A MEMBER YOU ARE TO ABIDE BY THE RULES TO QUALIFY FOR ANY KIND OF BENEFITS THE CLUB HAS TO OFFER
