Members present: Becky King, Kathy Dickey with Jaydan and Lexi, Travis Ober, Sabrina Hayes with Layla & Isaiah, Kevin & Stacy Tucker, Benny & Deloris Vasquez, Christina DeVore with Damian, and Carol & Travis Ober, Greg & Cynthia Pharris with Stephanie Mason and Karen Fite.
After enjoying our scrumptious pot luck dinner, the meeting was called to order by President Becky King.
OLD BUSINESS: Assignments were made for the rescheduled Jr. Rodeo.
Discussed sponsors that are still needed-2 blankets and 2 breast collars.
Discussed changes to the arena care work assignments. Becky and others commented on how great everything was looking and what a good turnout we had for the mandatory workdays. Everyone is encouraged to maintain those areas.
Discussed the Boomtown Rodeo which will be on the 9th and 10th of
September. Applications will be accepted for contestants for Queen and Princesses. Packets are available.
A tribute will be made to Dennis Gee during the rodeo.
Discussed possible changes in some events, for example, a hide pulling contest in place of the wild donkey riding. Everyone present was in favor. It was decided by officers and member to have 1-hide pulling, 2-Pony express, and 3-Calf scrambling.
It was brought to the Club's attention that the Forestburg Riding Club would like to set pivots. It was okayed for Friday night.
We will have a sign up sheet for Boomtown Rodeo work assignments. Becky emphasized that while she would do her best to accommodate everyone's wishes, it was not a guarantee.
Cynthia let the club know that it is still possible to qualify for prizes in the GNHA Playdays. The next one is May 15th in Lawton.
It was also suggested we participate in the Armed Forces Day Parade in Lawton, May 21st. Becky will look into it.
Discussed upcoming events: MAY 7TH--Playday and tack sale RRRA arena.
MAY 13TH & 14TH--JR RODEO!
MAY 18TH- Santa Rosa Parade in Vernon . Line up at 3PM sharp. We will leave from Braums @ noon.
Jr. Rodeo will start at 7 pm on the 13th (Friday) and at 10 am on the 14th. Riders may ride Jackpot OR Awards but NOT BOTH. Jackpots will be barrels, poles and flags only.
NEED SPONSORS IN EACH AGE GROUP FOR:
BREAST COLLARS- 4 @ $50.00 ea.
BLANKETS- 4 @ $50.00
Bring tack, old or new, and pay a $10.00 fee for a table! Also will have tack sale at the next playday, May 7th. PLEASE , do NOT sell out of your trailers. Tables will be set up near concessions.

#1 WORKDAYS FOR NEXT YEAR TO QUALIFY TO BE A MEMBER: Each Family will sign up at the awards banquet to take care of a section of the arena all year as a member.
All meetings will be changed to the 1st Monday of the month @ 7pm. Any other meetings will be decided by the President.
At each meeting will be a pot -luck dinner so no one has to eat late or miss a meal.
AGAIN WHEN YOU JOIN UP TO THE ASSOCIATION TO BE A MEMBER YOU ARE TO ABIDE BY THE RULES TO QUALIFY FOR ANY KIND OF BENEFITS THE CLUB HAS TO OFFER
